The Cats were 5 and 0 and looking to stay ahead of their district competition. Jackson was out to keep their playoff hopes alive, after dropping an earlier game to Bishop Kenny.

Charter coaches off limits to schools
The Pendleton boys soccer team was 30 minutes into its trip to Madras for a game Tuesday when it was told it had to leave its charter bus and finish the drive in a traditional school bus.

Three new board members have been appointed to the Prairie Crossing Charter School in Grayslake.
