NAACP meets with U.S. attorneys

The rally of between 600 and 700 people has now concluded in downtown Tallahassee. Charles Hobbs, legal adviser to the Florida NAACP, said he met for two hours this morning with U.S. Department of Justice officials and U.S. Attorney Gregory Miller about an ongoing federal investigation into the Martin Lee Anderson case.

More marchers arrive at Civic Center

Seven total charter buses are at the Civic Center. Three of the buses came from the Miami-Dade County area. The buses appear to be full, according to reporter Angie Taylor. More buses arrive for march

Four charter buses carrying protesters have now arrived at the Civic Center. Two buses were chartered by the NAACP, one is from the New Shiloh Missionary Baptist Church in Miami and where the fourth is from is unclear. People from Pinellas, Pasco and Hernando counties have now arrived. There are now more than 100 people at the Civic Center, including students and nonstudents. According to ...
